About us

Close the Gap is Scotland's expert policy advocacy organisation working on women's labour market participation. For 20 years, we've been working with policymakers, employers and employees to influence and enable action to address the causes of women's inequality at work. We operated as a partnership initiative until 2017 when we became a charity. We are governed by a board of trustees.
